Guide to Relaxation~Self Hypnosis
Find a quite place to lay down where you will not be disturbed ~ remove shoes or any garment that will interfere with your comfort in anyway (do not cross your legs or arms) ~optional play soothing music with sounds of the ocean, waterfalls, whales, anything that relaxes you. (no vocals)
Then begin with your eyes closed take 3-6 deep breaths ~ breath in deep fill up your lungs ~ hold it to a count of 4 ~ then exhale slowly.
Second ~ Count down from 10~1 you can do this several different ways I recommend the following:
- 10 ~ Imagine, sense or feel yourself walking along the ocean, down stairs, or an elevator.
- 9 ~ each step takes you deeper into relaxation.
- 8 ~ going deeper, deeper into relaxation.
- 7 ~ Feel your body letting go.
- 6 ~ just letting go and going deeper into relaxation.
- 5 ~ half way there now.
- 4 ~ each breath taking you deeper and deeper.
- 3 ~ almost there now.
- 2 ~ deeper, deeper, deeper
- 1 ~ be there now.
You can use any patter that works for you some individuals will start with 10..then 987…5…432…1…find what works for you.
- Third ~ Clear you mind
- Four ~ Visualize on the things you would like to attract into your life ~ (thoughts become things choose the good ones) Ask yourself questions you would like answers too and let your subconscious mind bring awareness to you.
- Fifth ~ if you are doing this at night tell yourself that you will wake up feeling refreshed and energized ~ If you are using this during the day count yourself out of relaxation/hypnosis from 1 up to five.
- One ~ returning to my full awareness
- Two ~ feeling good
- Three ~ moving your finger and toes
- Four ~ eyes are sparkling clear
- Five ~ eyes open stretch and smile.
